General Summary

We are building next-generation on-device Agentic AI technologies that provide intelligent, personalized, and context-aware assistance while preserving efficiency and privacy on edge devices. Our research focuses on enabling AI systems to understand user context, learn from interactions, maintain intelligent memory, and perform complex reasoning through efficient on-device multimodal models.

We Are Based In Seoul And Collaborate Closely With Research Teams Across Multiple Global Sites. We Are Looking For Research Interns Interested In Developing Novel Theories, Algorithms, And Systems In The Following Areas For Agentic AI

  • Long-term memory and memory-augmented AI systems.
  • Personalization, User context understanding, multimodal user modeling
  • Multimodal generative models (LLM, LVM) and Foundation models
  • Reinforcement learning, Continual learning, Knowledge distillation for SLM, SMM
  • Hybrid agents, Privacy, Data construction

The technologies developed during the internship may be deployed on commercial mobile and edge devices powered by Qualcomm platforms. Research outcomes are expected to contribute to state-of-the-art AI technologies and may lead to publications in top-tier AI conference.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Ph.D. or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning and deep learning
  • Research experience in LLM, LVM, Foundation models, transformers, and/or personalization techniques
  • Experience implementing ML algorithms using Python and deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)
  • Strong research and problem-solving skills demonstrated through publications or research projects.
  • Publication: two first-author papers in a top-tier (NeurIPS, CVPR, ICML, ICCV, ICLR, ECCV, ACL, NAACL) or highly competitive international conferences (e.g., AAAI, CoRL, WACV, BMVC). At least, one sole 1st-author paper in the top-tier venues.

Preferred Qualification

  • Prolific record of high-impact publication in top-tier AI conferences including CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICLR, NeurIPS, ICML, ACL (main), and EMNLP (main), NAACL (main) or a proven track record in industrial R&D.
  • Deep architectural understanding on LLMs and LVMs that goes beyond basic prompting and inference (e.g., structural optimization, custom layer design, or fundamental algorithmic improvements).
  • Experience with advanced machine learning techniques such as Reinforcement Learning (RL), Memory Network, Reasoning
  • Software development experience in mobile or embedded environments.
  • Proficiency in large-scale data processing and distributed analysis.
