Hitachi, Ltd. is seeking a Data Analyst Intern to support our data-driven initiatives. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization within a global technology company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and validating large datasets from various sources.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Support senior analysts in building and refining data models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Document data processes, methodologies, and findings clearly and concisely.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to data-related projects.
  
  

Job Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Familiarity with at least one data analysis tool or programming language (e.g., Python, R, Excel).
• Basic understanding of data visualization principles and experience with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or even advanced Excel charting is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior internship experience or projects involving data analysis is a benefit.
