JOB DESCRIPTION
- For Event Operations Assistant
Support the organization of workshops, trainings and events:
- Coordinate logistics and materials for workshops, trainings, and networking events.
- Liaise with other university units to organize event components smoothly.
- Liaise with venue staff and manage on-site setup and operations.
- Coordinate with guest speakers, trainers, and facilitators to ensure seamless event flow.
- Support the design of basic PR materials to promote events (in collaboration with the Communications Assistant when needed).
- For Communications & Content Assistant
- Design materials such as promotional banners, posters, brochures, reports, and other visual assets for workshops, trainings, and events.
- Write promotional articles and post-event summaries for CEM activities.
- Draft engaging content for Facebook, project websites, and other platforms to enhance event visibility and engagement.
- Collaborate with the Event Operations Assistant to ensure unified communications around CEM’s events and programs.
- Shared Responsibilities:
- Assist in research, data collection, formatting, and consolidating reports as needed by the project.
- Undertake other project-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS
- For Event Operations Assistant
- Prior experience organizing student activities or events.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
- For Communications & Content Assistant
- Advanced graphic design skills or experience with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop)
- Familiarity with video making and video editing tools (DaVinci Resolve, Capcut Pro,…) is a plus.
- Strong writing skills in both English and Vietnamese.
- Experience in student media, communication roles, or content creation.
- Common Requirements
- Current undergraduate student, with preference given to students from Cohort 2 and 3.
- A proactive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in English and Vietnamese (both written and spoken).
