JOB DESCRIPTION
CEM is seeking two undergraduate Project Assistants to contribute to projects related to educational innovation. Students will help conduct foundational research to inform a new educational philosophy at VinUniversity (Convergence Education) and help disseminate information to different audiences. The project assistants will also contribute to other interesting projects related to policy development, AI-enhanced learning, and pedagogy innovation. The exact projects that the Project Assistants will support are evolving and you will play a key role in steering CEM’s ideas and providing student perspectives on high-level initiatives that will have a transformative impact on teaching and learning at VinUniversity.
- Conduct literature reviews and academic research on educational philosophy and pedagogical approaches
- Search, gather, and consolidate academic and mainstream sources
- Analyze and synthesize large volumes of information to support policy and program development
- Prepare research summaries and present findings to senior leadership at VinUniversity
- Support benchmarking activities comparing educational practices and frameworks
- Communicate updates and information via different platforms including the VinUni website, social media, videos, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current undergraduate student (any major)
- Demonstrated passion for education and educational innovation
- Strong passion for academic research and demonstrated ability to find and process academic texts. Experience conducting literature reviews is an asset.
- Excellent English reading and writing abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience creating website and/or social media content. Graphic / video design experience is an asset.
- Strong communication skills and confidence to present findings to senior stakeholders
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
