Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to design robots, from the concept phase to mass production.
- Contribute to building the architecture of the autonomous software platform.
- Research and develop autonomous navigation algorithms such as mapping, localization, path planning, obstacle detection and avoidance for mobile robots.
- Simulate and optimize algorithms using tools like Isaac Sim, Gazebo, Webots, etc.
- Customize and fine-tune software modules in the ROS (Robot Operating System) platform to match specific robot applications.
- Deploy and integrate software onto test robots.
- Develop tools to support software deployment at production scale.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (minimum “Good” grade or equivalent) in IT, Robotics, Mechatronics, Automation, Control Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience (internship or early work experience before graduation is accepted).
- English proficiency equivalent to TOEIC 550/990 (certificate not required upon hiring).
- Experience with Linux, GitHub, and ROS.
- Basic understanding of sensors such as cameras, LiDAR, and ultrasonic sensors.
- Programming skills in at least one of the following: Python, C++, or Matlab.
- Completed coursework or training in robotics.
Preferred:
- Experience with robotics frameworks such as ROS or Nvidia Isaac.
- Experience working with Docker.
- Proficiency in one or more algorithms such as Google Cartographer, RTAB-Map, or Karto-SLAM.
- Advanced skills in ROS.
