Responsibilities
The Intern will be able to develop their research and analytical skills, with the opportunity to carry out the following tasks:
- Carry out research by using databases, internet and public domain tools
- Review internal documentation, financial and accounting data
- Collate and organize large volumes of data into formal English business writing format
- Use Excel, PowerPoint, and other visualization tools to provide diagrammatic and pictorial explanations to present key findings and patterns identified in the investigation
- Communicate regularly with colleagues to inform of progress of case work, highlighting key issues where necessary
- Organize case files, maintain accurate research records and record all billable costs.
- Provide additional administrative support to the team when requested
Requirements
- Fresh graduate with Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Economics, Finance, Journalism, International Relations/Affairs, Political Science, or similarly relevant degrees.
- Have prior working experience (internship or full-time) in research-intensive and English business writing-intensive environment. Having at least 6 months’ experience is an advantage.
- Resourceful, analytical, thorough, and detailed-oriented in research and deliverable preparation
- Able to demonstrate knowledge about business, finance, economics, politics, and current affairs
- Aware of and understands relevant regulations relating to confidentiality and data protection, discreet and able to handle sensitive information in confidence
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Vietnamese proficiency: Native
- English proficiency: minimum IELTS 7.5 or equivalent (if candidate has IELTS score, please provide the certificate showing the score for each component)
- Having additional language proficiency is an advantage
