Sedgwick Richardson I Account Executive Intern
The Role
This 6-month internship offers a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in branding, business development, and project management at a leading brand consultancy in Asia. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, learning directly from senior team members, including Account Managers, Strategists, and Designers based in our Vietnam and Singapore offices. We’re looking for an eager learner and team player with a strong interest in branding, design, and strategic communication. You’ll contribute to diverse projects in Vietnam and across the region. This is a hands-on role where you’ll develop your research, coordination, and client servicing skills in a fast-paced, creatively driven environment. Through active involvement in live projects, you’ll build an understanding of how strategic thinking meets creative execution to shape brands that make an impact.
Responsibilities
- Stay up to date on market trends including social media, industry sectors, branding, and design.
- Conduct research on client businesses, brands, industry sectors, and competitive landscapes.
- Understand the competitive landscape, both local and international, especially in branding and design, with a focus on players’ strengths and client focus.
- Assist in managing client projects and provide support to the account management team.
- Contribute to project coordination and planning tasks as needed.
- Assist in performing ad-hoc administrative duties.
About You
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field with no more than 6 months of work experience.
- Demonstrate fluency in both spoken and written English.
- Exhibit a strong team spirit and have experience leading group projects or initiatives at university.
- Demonstrate eagerness to learn and a willingness to grow professionally by embracing feedback and new challenges.
- Maintain a positive and proactive attitude, striving to develop an analytical and client-focused mindset over time.
- Show curiosity and appreciation for creativity, with an openness to explore inspiring design work and branding ideas.
- Develop effective communication and interpersonal skills, engaging respectfully and professionally with team members at all levels.
- Stay informed about current market trends, especially in branding, design, and social media, and contribute insights when possible.
- Remain composed and solution-oriented in fast-paced or demanding situations, with guidance from senior team members.
- Support the team with a collaborative mindset, aiming to contribute value and build confidence in your capabilities.
- Represent the SR brand professionally, both in the office and online, including responsible conduct on social media platforms.
