Accounting intern in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam | Schneider Electric Careers

About the Job

• Working closely with the General Accountant, supported by FiSS and external accounting provider

• Support the Accounting Manager to optimize the setup, quality, and check-up of Accounting and Tax processes and tools

• Accountable for deliverables of accounting processes done by FiSS, external provider, and local team

• Understand SE Tax for compliance with local and international Tax requirements

• In collaboration with tax team, ensure preparation and accuracy of tax returns

• Ensure local tax compliance, particularly in declaration, payment, and documentation

• Review tax/accounting reconciliation

• Assist the Accounting Manager in implementing internal controls in all accounting and tax matters

Qualifications

Knowledge and Education

• Technical knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and country accounting (statutory & tax)

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Auditing from a reputable university

• CPA or ACCA certification is preferred

Skills

• Process-oriented (workflows, guidelines, instructions, documentation)

• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills (Accounting Manager, FPA, General Accounting, FiSS team)

• IT savvy and tool-oriented

• Ability to synthesize information, identify key priorities and issues, and explain complex matters clearly

• High learning agility
